NEWS***11/20/06:We will be having our first Diversity Dialogue of the Year: Describe Your First Experience with Cultural Diversity and How it has Impacted Your Life 9/29/06:We will be starting up the Cultural Dialogues again in October, stay tuned! 9/5/06:SHADE's Fall kickoff will be this Thurs, 9/7 in room 229 SW at 12:10. Also, we now have an office on the 1st floor of the Social Work building!
8/24/06:members of SHADE will be talking to new students at the School of Social Work Orientationon Wed, Aug 30th, 2007 at the Biotechnology Center Auditorium. 4/11/06:We successfully held our first two Cultural Dialogues this week and last week!The topics we covered were: "How has priviledge affected you," and "The School of Social Work is working towards achieving greater cultural competency. What would look different if we were to achieve our goal?" Thanks to Tracy Shroepfer for all her hard work organizing these events. We are looking forward to hearing the student, faculty, and staff feedback on the dialogues.
